The Staples One-Touch Plus Desktop Stapler provides the user with a powerful spring-loaded mechanism to drive staples with consistency.  Tool was asked to work with the existing base mechanism to produce a refined aesthetic appropriate for the professional environment. By bringing focus to touch points with non-slip materials and sculpting surfaces in a way conducive to practical manufacturing methods this stapler has been out on the market for 5+ years.

Tool has also helped Staples, Inc. on a variety of other stapler related projects.  This has included re-skins of existing staplers, mini staplers, mechanism ideation, and packaging.
