Tool and Yakima worked side-by-side on a dynamic reboot of their hitch-mount bike rack family. Tool ultimately executed the design, engineering, and prototyping for five different hitch rack bike carriers.

Tool set the tone by presenting Yakima with a robust selection of family design languages. From there, all five products were re-designed, including critical user interaction and structural elements for each unique rack. When the design work was complete, Tool engineers ensured every rack stood up to the rigors of heavy use in all types of environments.

Released to the public in 2014, the full line continues to be sold by Yakima.
